TOSH defeats Bluefield 60-38 to move into Gold Medal game#2 THREE OAKS vs #3 BLUEFIELD
Both teams struggled to run their offenses as a low scoring first half had Three Oaks ahead over the Bobcats 31-16. Lauren Lilly with 13 and Jane Doyle 10, led the Axettes with while Hope Muttart had 11 for Bluefield. TOSH controlled the second half and earned a 60-38 victory.
For TOSH: Lilly 26, Doyle 19 and Megan MacDonald and Paige Campbell each had 6. For Bluefield, Muttart had 19 and Elesea Glenn and Mackayla Vos each had 7.
The Axettes move on to face Ch'town Raiders in the championship game Tuesday at 6pm at UPEI. The Bobcats will play for bronze at 2pm also at UPEI against Col Gray Colonels.
